Specification
The fume cupboard exhaust fans shall be Conditionaire “Safe-Tee” Series PM centrifugal fans of fully welded uPVC construction. The fan impeller shall be a multi-vane, backward curve, limit load type of non welded uPVC construction and is to be statically and dynamically balanced.
The fan case shall have a 20 mm drain socket fitted to the lowest point of the scroll. The fan is to be assembled arrangement 4 (direct drive) and supplied complete with galvanised channel base, anti-vibration mounts and galvanised motor cover.
In order to minimise power consumption and noise generation, the fan shall be selected from the performance curves as close as possible to the most efficient point of operation and the fan speed shall not exceed 24 rps.
